Q.
My baby is 1 month 22 days old and on breastfeeding.he is suffering from too much gas day and night and crying continuously at night times.doctor recommend me collijoy drops for gas problem,but my concern is can I use it daily as baby is suffering from colic pain daily,is it safe?or please recommend me what to do to reduce gas problem

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the gut .
other factors include cow's milk introduction before 1 year of age , bottle feeding, not giving proper burping after each feed.
Digestive enzymes like aglkiozyme drops can be given as suggested by doctor in proper dose for reliving of such symptoms .
