Q.
My baby is 1 month 20 days. He is spitting milk after feed. Doctor advised to put him upright on shoulder for 20 mins. But my mother is saying baby’s chest will get joined if we put him upright for this many times. Is this right? Will chest gets joined when put baby upright?

Please go ahead with what your doctor is suggesting I have done it throughout the time when I was feeding my child I never faced a problem and it is a misconception that your mother has these people from previous generation are only taking to what they have learnt they do not know the scientific reasons behind what doctor advising so please tell your mother in case of doubt she can always talk to your doctor to clear all her doubt
