Q.
my baby is 1 month 15 days old.....his head is in long shape...when it comes in actual round shape

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. due to pressure on one side of the head during sleeping there is flatness / abnormal shape on that side of the head.
no treatment is required for flat head / bumpy head and you will see that by one year to two years of age the flat head will go away as soon as the child begins to sit and later walk.
pillows will not help much in this case so do not worry.
the bones in the skull are elastic sdo to give space to the growing brain it takes different shape and when the growth of the brain occurs properly then gradually they will take a normal shape.
at your level you can give different sleeping position to the child. also give tummy time more often which will also decrease the pressure on the back of the head.

Had it been the same from the time of birth then maybe it is is the natural shape of the head as of now and maybe it will get better over the period but without having proper knowledge and physical assessment of the child is difficult to say anything so better to check with your doctor on this
