A. Hi, Feed till the time baby himself leaves the nipple. My son has always fed for max 3-4 mins every 2 hours. Also there r children who feed upto half an hour. I just waot for him to let go of nipple himself. Also, i feed only from one breast at a time coz he is able to fill his tummy from one side. He is 6 months now and is 7.5 kg from 3.2 birth weight. He is exclusively breastfed.

A. the baby's tummy is very tiny.. so they cannot hold more .. they need to refill it again and again... generally this age baby needs to feed in every 2 hours.. at each feeding they feed upto 45-60 minutes.. (if breastfeeding) .. And for formula milk, they will feed 60-120 ml in one feed and in a gap of 2-3 hours... but then each baby is different.. you should follow your baby's hunger cue... Feed him as per his demand....
