Q.
My baby is 1 .5 year old and is having cough after viral fever has resolved.Doctor has prescribed only livo cetrizine.Pls suggest home care which can be given for early recovery.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment idgts given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.g
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is a very good syrup and you should give it to your baby as per the prescription and also give bay indirect steam twice a day and apply lukewarm warm mustard oil on baby chest and massage gently.
