Q.

My baby is 1.5 month old and he is moving continuously in every 5 min intervals while sleeping! I am worried what may be the reason and he is also not sleeping in the day time only 2-3 hours in whole day and he is exclusively on breastfeed and is gaining adequate amount of weight

A. Your child may have periodic limb movements (PLMS) during sleep. These are when your child moves a body part during sleep. It is most common in the legs. The limb moves or jerks over and over, then stays still for a time.
