Q.

My baby is 1.5 month how many hours should baby sleep after feeding and how many hours long can I allow him to sleep between each feeding?

A. Dear mum, the sleeping pattern varies from baby to baby. Babies should sleep 14 to 17 hours in a day. You should feed your baby on demand. Even if your baby sleeps for 4 to 5 hours at a time without feed, it’s fine. If baby is active, alert and passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours then feeding is adequate.

A. If I let him sleep for 4-5 hours will my milk supply reduce. Thank you for you quick response
