A. For nasal congestion in a 1.2 year old baby, you can try the following options: 1. Saline drops - Put a few drops of saline solution into each nostril to help loosen and clear mucus. 2. Use a bulb syringe - After using the saline drops, suction out the loosened mucus with a bulb syringe. 3. Increase fluids - Encourage your baby to drink more fluids, such as water, breast milk, or formula. 4. Elevate the head - Use a pillow to elevate your baby's head slightly while sleeping to help with drainage. 5. Humidifier - Use a cool mist humidifier in your baby's room to add moisture to the air. There are no medications recommended for treating nasal congestion in a baby under 2 years old without first consulting with a healthcare provider. Also, keep in mind that you should always check with a healthcare provider before giving any medications to your baby. Always follow their advice and directions. If your baby's congestion persists or worsens, or if they have difficulty breathing, seek medical attention promptly.
