Q.
my baby hb was 12.5 gm/dl 2 month back now it's 11 even after my baby is on iron supplement on and off as advised by his paediatrician after he achieved hb of 12.5 from 6gm/dl. I want to ask until how many days I have to continue with iron and he is still on formula feed want to shift him to cow milk when I can do that. he is going to be 1 year old on 29 September.

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 11 months old and if his Hb is reduced to 10 gms from 11 gms then you should give him deworming medicine and green vegetables soup
