A. Nystatin, miconazole, clotrimazole, and ketoconazole are commonly used medicines for yeast diaper rashes. For severe rashes, a steroid ointment, such as 1% hydrocortisone, may be applied. You can buy these without a prescription. But first ask your provider if these medicines will help.Apply to the skin only. Avoid sensitive areas such as your eyes, inside your mouth/nose, and the vaginal/groin area, unless the label or your doctor directs you otherwise.Head to your pharmacy's baby-care aisle for a topical petroleum jelly-based diaper-rash ointment, which can help protect and heal the area.

A. Dermocalm Lotion 100 ml is a combination of Calamine (anti-itching agent) and Light liquid paraffin (emollient). Calamine causes a cooling sensation as it evaporates on the skin. Light liquid paraffin is an emollient (softens and soothes skin) that prevents loss of water from the outer layer of skin.
