Q.

my baby having loose motions so doctor suggested me oflaxacin oral suspension ip zenflox, doctor told me to give 2.5ml morning and night, can i give that?

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary wheregy proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econgorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .

A. follow the prescribed medicine as doctor advice apply coconut oil on baby tummy area and gently massage in circular motion keep baby well hydrated take care
