Q.

my baby having cleft palate posterior. doctor said its mild one she dont have any issue with swallowing. when it will can be surgically corrected

A. it can be corrected around 10 months of age For further advice it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination if there is need for investigations also then only proper treatment can be given to you o . K .

A. A cleft palate is commonly fixed between 9 and 14 months of age. If there is a separation in the gum line, it usually is repaired when a child is 8-10 years of age. A child's cleft/craniofacial team will determine the best time for cleft palate surgery
