Q.
my baby has recently started going school but she is not able to go regularly bec she gets cold cough . she is on medicines from last one month now she is irritated also by having so much medicine and not able to sleep due to blocked nose. please suggest something

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes around child.
For cold / running nose give syp wikoryl AF 5 ml to the child 2- 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold)
Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal congestion and block.r
Indirect steam help in decreasing coughing
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Go for home redmedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink.

See for past two years kids have been at home only so there is immunity issue with kids at the first place in a lot of kids are actually Having low immunity as well as some kind of an allergy which is why they often suffer with cold and cough so I would recommend you to go ahead with a proper treatment of the child for allergyWrite Your Answer Here
