Q.

my baby has not done potty from last 8 days. On the 7th of September we have done the baby's 3rd vaccination and till now he is doing only passing urine and gas. is this something that we need to worry about? baby age: 3 months

A. no It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day. If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool. No medicines needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard. It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age. intermittent crying of the child is due to colic pain and not due to constipation. d

A. A child and go without passing motion for 7 to 10 days but if the child is having sufficient amount of urine and feeding is proper then there is nothing to be one idiot if you require you can consult your paediatrician for this
