Q.
my baby has,nasal congestion and sneezing from birth.it increase some days.dr prescribed paracetamol, citrzine hydrochloride,salburamola,nasal drops for several times.but it reoccurring at 1 week of gap.what should do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribfyed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the teymperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. The child is actually too small to deal with this kind of a problem but just to be on the safer side I would suggest you to get an allergy test done for your child girl or a famous kids are alleged to certain things are not even aware about it
