my baby has got severe cold and mild fever can I make her sleep under ac and what kind of foods to be given to her

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 10 months old now if baby has severe cold then avoid exposure to cold air as it can aggravate cold and give steam inhalation warm massage to chest and apply vicks baby vaporub on chest and give maxtra drops 0.6 ml

it is better to avoid using ac
please dress your child in weather appropriate clothes
offer light food like khichdi, rice, upma, etc to your child.
keep your child hydrated.
you can give warm water with pinch of turmeric powder,give it in 2 tbsp quantity every 5 hours
provide apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day
maintain good hygiene
