Q.

My baby has got fever 3 times in the span of 20 days she is having cold too. I have stopped breastfeeding her completely about a month hardly. What would be the reason for her repeated fever. Does stopping breastfeeding affects baby or their immune system

A. Right now due to weather and may be due to must dust allergy your baby must have got cold, saline drops are very good and helps to baby for easy breathing, you can use them, heat some coconut oil and ajwain powder in it and the. when it cools down apply that on the baby's head, very good for cold. Also get some multi vitamin supplements from your gynacelogist to boost the baby's immunity.

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be benvdeficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
