My baby has febrile seizure he is 4 year old and from yesterday he has fever 101 it’s dropping i Give him clobium syrup at Wat temperature we should give clobium If he vomits with in 15 mins should we give the medicine Agn

Author of questionMom of 3 children2 years agoA. Is iron deficiency Related to febrile seizure When we gets fever my baby’s hand and feet is chill and fore head and body is hot So my doc told to give iron syrup or iron rich food he has 10 or 11HB In blood test he is 4 years old

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. yes this condition is also known as febrile seizures(fits/convulsions) many times prophylaxis medicines to decrease the chances of seizures is given by the doctor which may contain anti seizures medicine as well as anti seizures nasal spray. meet your doctor who will tell you how to use this medicines in an emergency. at the same time it is important to get the child vaccinated for all important infectious disease as well as flu vaccine which will decrease the chances of fever in your child this disease does not usuaxlly occur after completion of 5 years of age at the time of initiation of fever it is important to give fever medicines immediately as well as give sponge bath to decrease the chances of seizures.
