Q.

my baby has completed 6 months. How much quantity of formula milk I need to give her? How many times solid food in a day? What kind of solid food is desirable at this age?

A. Hello mom babies by the age of 6 months can be given about 150 to 175 ml of feed . About 5 to 6 times a day. You can now introduce him to weaning foods initially start with some liquid consistency foods, and they gradually move to semi solids and mashed foods, Start with one time a day and then gradually increase the number of meals , variety and quantity . You can give dal or rice water , steamed vegetable or soups, fresh fruit juices or purée,porridges made of suji, ragi, multigrain mix, kichidi , curds , ghee.
