Q.

My baby had febrile seizures 2 times in a month so doc suggested MRI of brain and eeg which is not normal so my doc suggested gardenal syrup for 15 days and valparin syrup side by side for 2 yrs. Can I give both syrup for 15 days also? Is there any side effects for giving both syrups? Will these seizures continue in future also?

A. See only what you are Dr is advising you should go ahead with that because the medicines must be suggested on the basis of the report that I mri had so I cannot tell you whether you should be continuing it with the medicines for this much time or more than that you have to go ahead with following with what you are Dr is suggesting

Q. My 2.5yr old son got back to back 2 seizures without any fever. We showed him to neurologist and did EEG test was normal. But as he had two seizures without fever doctor started him on levetiracetam. We have to also get MRI done. Am just so scared as am so new to all this. Please share some support and suggestions.
