ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 6 weeks old and he has received his vaccinations at 6 weeks then he had no fever but watery loose motions so it’s not due to vaccinations
Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. yes can give
when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swellingc you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 1 m old girl3 years agoA. hi
as a child is not having fever ,no need of peracetamol
but as a child is passing stool in too much watery consistency ,I advise to visit your pediatrician for once.
please give plenty of breastfeeds to your child.
try cool pack on injected site which help to cure redness, pain , swelling etc
