Q.
My baby had a cold with running nose , watery eyes . Is it safe to take his 15month vaccine now ?? (PCV booster & hepatitis A first dose )

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. simple cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to gox for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccinationx
if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and in my opinion and personal experience you should wait for few days and also we can delay it for one week and baby should be fine before taking vaccination and also consult with your doctor too.
