Q.
My baby had 6 week vaccination yesterday morning at 10:30AM and got fever by evening 3pm. He is also in full pain as his left thigh got swelling. Since then I gave him paracetamol oral drops for every 6hours till today 5pm. Now he is ok with pain and didn't develop any fever symptoms. Should I need to continue to give paracetamol drops again at 11pm. If so upto when should I need to give him paracetamol drops.

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy has received a vaccinations yesterday and he got a fever and swelling and pain then give him 1 ml paracetamol three times a day and apply ice cube at injection site for three days

Else, just take a good care of your baby. Maintain a good personal hygiene. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Good luck and take care.
