Q.
my baby got cough yesterday I gave adults (tuspidon-dx ) cough syrup for about 2ml mistakenly. she vomited after I gave that syrup in few seconds and pooed after few mins. she was normal through out the night. only she was having cold. now she got fever. what should I do.pls help me. she is having loose motion from morning. do i need to take her to hospital.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. that is not a problem and the child is having cold and loose motion for which you can give nasal saline drops and any cold medicine. avoid given outside milk in loose motion and give easily digestible food like rice dal and khichdi and then meet the doctor if it is not improving in next one or two days

Hi If your child vomited it out the maximum of the medicine would have been vomited get if you’re facing any issue with your child after giving the medicine then you should immediately consult your paediatrician ones that Dr would be able to give you a better guidance on this
