My baby girl was having physiological jaundice and she was given phototherapy for 3 days at the hospital.. at birth she was fair.. now why her skin tone is getting darker? does photography or jaundice cause darken skin? when it will return to normal?

A. yes that's true but skin will become normal in 1 month it is important to follow the instructions opinion advice and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not take medicines not prescribed by the doctor . take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification or any lab / radiological investigations.
