my baby girl turns 2 year old by this month ending. she is still not talking. what is to be done

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. if some words ok. if not. then show. better to show to a specialist and get the right opinion as soon as you can. see only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust her

Jasmine Shiny DsouzaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hi mom. the child is saying it is one or two words then no need to worry. communication is different for each babies. babies will start to communicate almost around 16 to 18 months. now their communication may not be very clear but they will be able to say few words. but every child is different so there are some early speakers or late speakers. reduce the use of mobile and TV for a better communication. just communicate with him continuously and point out this objects and name them, repeat it until the baby is able to say it. have patience as it comes very slowly.
