Q.

My baby girl's umbrical cord has fallen of when she was 5 days old and we see couple of blood drop on her cord stump even now (20 days old). No redness, swelling or fever in/around the cord stump. Is it normal or do we need to look for any other symptoms?

A. Hello..it seems umbilical granuloma... kindly do get checked with your paedritician once.. check for discharge.. keep the area clean.. and try to keep dry.. sprinkle neosporine powder . u
