Q.

My baby girl of 7+ months is used to similac sensitive formula as she was born in USA and we are in India for about 2months and now giving her similac from India. She is experiencing severe conspitation and when we give her stool softener like muout, stool comes out hard and in circular round shape much like an adult stool. She is have trouble sleeping and gets up in every 30mins or less time. We haven’t slept well because of this for few weeks now. Please find attached stool pictures for your reference as it is dry and hard and has form/shape.

A. Constipation is likely due to less fibre and liquids at this age . Try to give her more mashed fruits , vegetable and fluids . Change the formula to other brands and use probiotics based formula . Ensure around 500 ml of formula maximum .

A. Hello. Please give colicaid drops , 6-10drops twice or thrice daily.... stools will be little easier to pass . Also u can apply warm castor oil near the stomach and as well near anus so it makes it easy to fall off
