Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can leyad to some chronic manifestations occasionally . Also teeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is cguommonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .

Hi You don’t decide on your on whether you have to go for a CT scan or not first you get a check with your doctor if there is no issue then why do you have to put your child under the scanner let it be scanned by a doctor for and if they say that you further go ahead with it then only you should otherwise not
