Q.

my baby girl of 1.5 yrs falls while playing.she got blue clot on her head.after that she vomits immediately.and slept.should we do ct scan

A. i'v consult to the dr. he said let er sleep now.in mrng you can do ct scan for safe side

A. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can leyad to some chronic manifestations occasionally . Also teeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is cguommonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .

Hi You don’t decide on your on whether you have to go for a CT scan or not first you get a check with your doctor if there is no issue then why do you have to put your child under the scanner let it be scanned by a doctor for and if they say that you further go ahead with it then only you should otherwise not
