Q.
my baby girl is suddenly syffering from cold and cough we shown to doctor he has given some syrup but it was not effected. then we second time follow the doctor he gave duolin 3 and recommend to give steam. we gave her regular from 2 days but she is still coughing too much. what to do? how cough will came out ? please suggest.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of virgal illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordi byngly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
