A. Hai good morning !! Until 5 complete months exclusive breast milk or formula milk is suggested, from 6 month onwards start semi solid foods. Yes home made cerelac with pulses, grains is best to start with. Dry roast wheat, barley, arhar, urad, moongdal , chanadal, rice equal quantities (you can take two to three items of grains&pulses ) add one spoon of jeera, ajwain cool them and grind into fine powder Preparation - Boil 150-200 ml of water, add ghee or unsalted butter one spoon of cerelac powder and stirr continuously to avoid lumps formation let it cool and feed baby in semi solid texture.. Gradually you can add carrot, beet root grate, potato, beans, nuts powder while preparing cerelac...
