Q.

My baby girl is 9 month old.. Doctor has advice her to give D3 Must 60k means chocalciferol chewing tablet 60000 IU once in a week for four weeks.. Is it safe to give such a high doses to 9 month old baby

A. hi,your baby is 1 9 months old.normal dose of vitamin D is around 400 IU every day.but if your baby is deficient in vitamin D or have symptoms of vitamin D deficiency then the dosage will be higher.
