Q.
my baby girl is 7 months 7 days she has running nose since evng and temperature is only 96 & 97 she has been sneezing from yesterday but no running nose ya temperature but she is very cranky and not leaving me even if I make her sleep on bed she is waking up and comfortable only on my laps please suggest any home remedies Vicks I had applied on her chest and back

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carriedf out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water.
higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

Teething may have started to happen as due to swelling and irritation into the gums and lots of itching into the gums of the child a title become really very clingy towards the mother and maybe it is not running nose but sometimes due to blocked nose also or sometimes heavy smell or smell around a child can have a problem of sneezing that that’s very normal
