Q.
my baby girl is 20days old.breastfeeding baby...she cries n arches her back releasing gas n pooping frequently very small amounts like drop with yellowish liquid many times a day..stay calm when taken into lap..but cries as kept on ground.. is it because of any problem?

arching back, Babies are noticed to go through excessive crying. They cry intensely with high pitched sound. The baby’s face usually flushes and it seems to be extremely difficult to comfort them is a case of infantile colic, parents.
Other symptoms of the babies with colic is babies curl up their legs, or clench their fists or even have stiff abdominal muscles during the episode of colic. Do tummy time, do leg pedaling exercise, massage the tummy in gentle circular motion.
You can apply home remedies like local application of hing mixed in a spoon of lukewarm water around naval.
Application of ghee mixed in saindhav salt also provides relief. Give gastric drops, or colicaid on SOS basis. Burping post every feeding session is important to release out the gases sucked while feeding. If bottle fed baby, use of anti-colic nipples to be kept in mind.
Can give ajwain boiled water to drink for above 6m babies.
