Q.

my baby girl is 2 year 1 month old but still she only says some words and does not form sentences. she has no issues with hearing , responding, understanding. She is active baby too. Should I still need to worry about her slow speech or is it normal?

A. proper language / speech development will start between 18 months of age to 3 years of age. there is no need to worry before that just concentrate on the diet and regular interaction with the child. also speech and language develops properly with more people available to interact with the child avoid usage of tv mobile and laptop because they are the most common reasons for delayed speech and language development. the most important thing is that before speech, understanding of the commands given by the parents should be present. by 18 months if tdhe child is not following basic commands then only you have to meet the doctor for speech and development assessment. requirement of speech therapy will also be discussed by your doctor.

A. If your child is not speaking lot of words if it was only certain words then you can just go ahead with teaching your child to add two words connect to words to frame a sentence a child is going to do it with proper age right now it is not the age but you can try helping your child
