Q.

My baby girl feeds continously for an hour or sometimes more than that. But she still feels hungry and asks for feed again after 5 mins if she has not slept. She is 43 days old. Is this growth spurt or is breastmilk not enough or is she sucking slowly? What could be the problem ?

A. Same scenario with me. I'm assuming this is growth spurt. My baby is also 43 days old.

A. most of the small babies should be getting the required feeding within 10 to 15 minutes of AC to sucking at the best afterwards babies may be doing dream feeding if the baby is passing urine 10 times for a day indication of adequate milk

A. See There could be two things maybe your child is actually sucking it slow but this much slow is actually not possible otherwise the second thing is that maybe your child is unable to have a proper breast feed from you so it would be advisable for you to start giving formula feeding after consulting your doctor
