Q.
My baby girl aged 2.5 years old, she is suffering with runny nose and cough, coughing during bed time. actually I was infected first later speard to daughter. please advice medicine for her.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes around child.
For cold / running nose give syp wikoryl AF 5 ml to the child 2- 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold)
Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal congestion and block.
For wet coughing you can give syrup ascoril LS 5ml twice daily to the child
Indirect steam help in deczreasing coughing
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water czombination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink.

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello do not give any medication without checking your doctor and it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and u can put nasal drops ir use instant cold releif rub from Babyhug fir cold
