my baby from last one week all of a sudden refusing completely rightside breast feeding. whenever I try to give my right side he starts crying and avoid it completely if someone could help me why all of a sudden this is happening?

Ritika RajMom of a 4 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. sorry, didn't explain better earlier. the discomfort generally is in neck movement for the baby. thus, when u take baby on shoulder, baby will learn to turn head on both sides. (though baby might be moving neck comfortably, they have whole lot of nakras while taking milk for some reason).
alternatively, you can try twisting a little and try making the baby suck of the other breast in the position baby is comfortable. for Eg, my baby takes it only from left breast, so I either lean or twist my upper body in such a manner that right breast reaches his mouth, sometimes pull him a little on lap so that it's easier for me to make the breast reach his mouth. these works for me

Ritika RajMom of a 4 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. that may be because the baby feels discomfort on that side. while burping, try taking him on both shoulders (time to time) so that the baby moves the neck both sides.
this is happening with me as well, thus can relate and advise

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. if you are getting proper breast milk supply from both the breast naturally baby will be taking milk if the supply is less are you there is any problem like inverted nipple are flat nipple baby maybe refusing give Express breast milk
