My baby falls asleep by just latching on one breast is it ok? He is at the beginning of his third week ...

A. my baby is 8 days old. she keeps sleeping whole day . its difficult to make her drink breast milk, as she falls asleep after few sips. what could be the reason

A. this pattern is very common in children but you have to see that the child does not have any type of difficulty in breathing as well as digestion problem when the child is taking feeding and sleeping in this position and it is also advisable that you should give breastfeeding from both sides

A. hi all babies are different so they have their own specific sleep and feeding patterns. so if your child looks happy healthy and active, gains enough weight then no need to worry about anything. just ensure that your child should pass urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day. but once your child wake up from sleep try to offer the other side instead of Same one ,try to feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well.
