my baby eats a small bowl of food in lunch and dinner . is it enough to him .How much food quantity give him in every meal.

A. toddler who is almost 3 years old generally needs about 1,000 to 1,400 calories per day, depending on their growth and activity level. Since their stomachs are small, it is often better to focus on the frequency of meals rather than just the quantity in one sitting.

A. Hello good morning !! Feed 3 meals and 2 snacks. Include fruits and vegetables, Millets,dry fruits,egg ,meat, fish in diet. Break fast - idly/dosa/ragi porridge, sooji Dalia, sabudana, oats, cerelac,bread omlet. Lunch /Dinner- Rice/roti with dal, sabji,paneer, Leafy vegetables, vegetables;egg omlet, curry,fish,meat . Dry fruits, fruits as snacks . All these gives balanced and nutritional diet helps in increasing baby's weight. Yes half bowl rice with dal/sabji/paneer/egg. Combination and quantity of sabji is most important in diet.
