Q.

My baby drips milk from her mouth while feeding and I m sure that she has latched well. While I am feeding her, the milk is dripping out from her mouth and it soaks about 2 bib towels per feed. How to overcome this?

A. May be your breast is full and she gets more milk while sucking. Try block feeding. Give the baby only one breast during feed. Then again within the next three hours if the baby is hungry use the same breast. The next time use the opposite breast in the same way.

A. try different feeding positions.. and give her breaks between the feed.. also hold the breast near the nipple slightly pressed by the other hand.. this is due to over flow of milk.. she cannot swallow the whole milk that's going inside her mouth...
