Q.

my baby doesn't poop until I give dulcolax what should I do to improve his poop without dulcolax

A. straining while passing stool as well as urine is normal. the child is crying due to colic pain (due to gas) and not due to the reason that the child has not passed the stool. infants may not pass stool for 10 days also and if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solids it is not constipation. you can consider constipation only if it is hard and dry stools.s you can give anticolic medicines and meet your doctor. burping / upright position for 20 minutes will help in decreasing thes gas and future colic pain

A. First initial 6 to 7 months constipation is completely normal if a child does not pass a motion for 7 to 10 days also but taking the feeding properly showing no signs of discomfort it is normal so please do not go ahead with giving any kind of a suppository to the child as I buy the system is going to get used to it
