A. dear Mum baby should gain atleast 500 grams weight per month frequently feed baby every 2 hours , have frequent skin to skin contact, at one time feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain ensure that baby latches properly during breastfeeding.

A. yes it's absolutely all right as my daughter is preemie born with 1.23 kg she was at the hospital for 2 months. I used to give Kangaroo mother care ( give ur warm hug to baby ) and mother milk is best to gain a child's weight .
