my baby boy is almost 2 yrs. he does not show any sign of talking.not even some half words.
he makes sounds like aye aye Kai Kai Sia Sia guku guku. he does not even respond to calling his name. he says Maa very rarely, but he hardly realise whom he should call Maa. he is active...happy.. naughty.. understands sign languages like going on outing, eating, clothes changing, drinking water..what should I do next?

Talk to him even you think he is not responding. Do lots of pretend playing. Take him to more play area special Parks try to show him how we say hello / bye to kids...hello to Uncle aunty. Do this even he seems to ignore. Make sure he will be always surrounded by people and not with TV or Mobile. I have been at your place. my kid started talking when he was 4. Our nephew also had same problem and he did not speak for 3 years, he was active and happy kid though didn't respond to anyone, neither he used to pay a heed to what anyone is saying. He used to get distracted very easily. we went to speech therapist and got to know that he had problem in concentration, and he has made his own world where he is not bothered about anyone. With the help of the therapist and God's grace he started speaking and paying attention.
