My baby boy is 7 month old, he was exclusively breast feeding after birth , now also taking solid very well bt he is not gaining weight, now he is 5 kg only, any suggestions dr !!

A. Hello good morning !! By 5-6 months baby doubles their birth weight . If baby has doubled his/her birth weight nothing to worry,on an average baby gains 400-900 gm per month check if baby gaining atleast 200-500 gm per month. Give semi solids - Cerelac,dal kichdi,idly,sooji,dalia,oats porridge with ghee,curd rice,paneer ,banana,potato ,,nuts powder in cerelac or porridges helps in weight gain.
