my baby boy is 7 month old ...and his weight is 6.5 kg is it normal or under weight?

NikithaMom of a 11 yr old child8 years agoA. Hello...An average 7-pound newborns could weigh about 17 to 18 pounds at the end of the seventhmonth,. The 50th percentile weight at 7 months is 17 pounds for a girl and 18.5 pounds for a boy...i.e 7.71kgs....your baby is bearing so it's fine not to to worry...give bm along other fruits n vegetables

For weight gain... you should give him banana, ghee, butter, whole cream yoghurt, cheese, paneer, avacado, sweet potatoes, potatoes, ragi, please breastfeed him more often.. And for more time in one go... give her more of the hind milk (the later part of the breast milk, the thicker part).... so feed him more from one side atleast 20 minutes from one side before switching the breast... this will give her more hind milk and fat to increase the weight, immunity and overall development of the baby...
