My baby boy is 6 months old. Now his temperature is 102.2 what will be the dose of Calpol 120??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. give 4ml for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation. after giving fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere

You can give about 10 drops to your child and you can again repeat it after six hours if the temperature is rising the temperature is 102° right now so along with the medication I would also recommend you to do sponging that will help in reduction of the temperature
