SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, usually newborn baby will gain around 500 g every month. Also check the urine count if the urine count is 6 to 8 times in a day or more than that then baby is getting adequate feed. If the weight is very less and babies urine output is very less then you need to check with your paediatrician and then start giving formula.
