Q.
my baby boy is 4th month old. my doctor prescribed tonoferon drops. I started to use this drops from 2days only. after using this syrup my baby doesn't poop. is tonoferon cause constipation. plz tell me the solution

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. you should always remember that any iron medicine will cause constipation so if the child is suffering from constipation just stop the medicine for some time and you can give some enzyme medicines first consult your doctor regarding this

RashmiMom of a 10 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. Yup Due to this medicine only your child is suffering with constipation it doesn’t suit a lot of kids and some kids can have constipation after taking this medicine so I think that’s the only reason consult your doctor and change the medicine
