Q.
my baby boy is 40 days old...he has jus gained 300gms since birth...he is on breastmilk..only 1 time I use to give him formula milk..his weight at borth was 2.8kg n now 3.1 kg..is dat normal or something 2 worry??

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children4 years agoA. it is just a month, wait and monitor the weight gain..
after birth there will be weight loss then the baby will start weight gain..
babies should gain around 500-700g per month after birth..
and double the birth weight around 4-6months and three times the birth weight at completion of one year..
